I Wish
I wish he were mine. For without him I’m nothing.
I wish I had the same crystal blue eyes he does,
And also his deep chocolate brown hair.
I wish he were mine so I could own his special shining smile,
And enjoy the constant clicking of his pencil.
I wish he knew how he haunts my dreams,
And makes me turn into a puddle when he looks my way.
I wish he knew how he made me feel,
All wispy and washy and bubbly too.
Every time I see him I break a little inside.
I wish he were mine, but without him I’m everything.
