She waits in her castle
Alone at the top
Expects her prince
Just yearns to drop
She lies in her castle
Of delicate glass
Her heart still beats
Yet at an impasse
She swims in her castle
Deep under the sea
Speechless and afraid
Her silence a plea
She rests in her castle
Sleeps in her bed
Dreams of her prince
Her heart far from dead
She cleans in her castle
Of hardship and pain
Sweeps and mops
And scrubs each stain
Her happy ending
Will not leave her castle
For she’s locked away
And it’s not worth the hassle
