His disgust is your splendor,
His sadness your bliss.
His dissent your surrender,
His demise is your wish.
As he wraps
His callous palms
Around your waste
of stone,
Remember one thing
You are never alone.

Simple but evocative. The rhyme never sounds forced (which is rare in teenage poetry, I'm sure you're aware !), and the line breaks are well-placed. 5 stars. :)

I LOVE this. The rhymes and imagery are fantastic. It's dark and awesome and written exceptionally well.
