Trapped
Wild, uncertain panic,
no way in and no way out,
smooth and slick,
nowhere to grasp,
hands feeling for a hold,
searching for an edge,
hunting for a weakness.
Dark, cold panels,
no end and no beginning,
nothing beyond this shadow,
lost in the endless confusion,
hands, feet plastered to the sides,
pushing at every angle for an escape,
too smooth, too perfect,
these walls with no end,
this darkness with no forgiveness.
