If i've learnt how to love, it's because of you.

Now you’re in my life, I can’t deny,
The feeling inside, a love multiplied,
From the intensity I cannot hide,
I will always strive to keep you mine,
You are the one, my everything,
My reason to live, my purpose for existing,
Only you could call at 4 in the morning,
And my face would still retain a grin,
Though we have our ups and downs,
I will always stick around,
Because what I feel inside now,
Would make even Cupid proud,
You feature in all of my happiest dreams,
All my perfect fantasies,
You are the one who makes me complete,
I can’t live without you, it seems,
The only hope for me is you,
I need you in everything I do,
Your absence only provokes a gloom.
So deep, my heart has no clue,
Without you my life lacks all direction,
Simple tasks turn into complexion,
You rule the roost, my heart’s infection,
You are my one crazy obsession,
I need you now, I need you forever,
Keeping you is my greatest endeavour,
The way I’m feeling, I’ll never surrender,
I’ll keep fighting whatever the weather,
And I wonder whether you feel the same,
Do you need my presence since that day in May,
Am I the light that guides you through your day,
Bring out the best in every decision you make,
You are what my life desires,
But am I your heart’s burning fire,
We may not be the best, but as it transpires,
You are all that I require,
The only hope for me is you,
I need you in everything I do,
Your absence only provokes a gloom.
So deep, my heart has no clue,
Even after all we’ve been through,
Our countless threats to move on to pastures new,
You may not feel the same as I do,
But the only hope for me is you.

The author's comments:
This may not seem to be a great poem because I have used the same verse twice. For that reason, it could be classed as a song. However, the first inclusion of this particular verse was to provide a transition from the happy side to the sad side of the relationship. The second inclusion of the verse was because I like to end my poems with a line similar to the title of the poem.
