As much as we complain about life
At least we get to live
She left this world with nothing to take
And all her life to give
No one could help her the way she was
And so there was nothing to save
We never met her or knew her at all
But she changed us in many ways
The words that she wrote
Are twisted and frayed
This world isn’t fair
You grew up in a grave
You strengthened us all
Through your deadliest plague
And still we all wonder
Who you’d be today
You taught us so much through your life
As short as it was
I spend each passing minute treating it
Like it’s the last one
Just know that you’ve made all of us happy
Even when we’re in a rut
Your brothers are gonna
Love you know matter what
The words that she wrote
Are twisted and frayed
This world isn’t fair
You grew up in a grave
You strengthened us all
Through your deadliest plague
And still we all wonder
Who you’d be today
As much as we complain about life
At least we get to live
She left this world with nothing to take
And all her life to give
She strengthened us all with glory
Trust and obey
Still we'll always sit wondering
Who she'd be today
