Hues of Life, of Passion Deep
Somber hues
Have colored your skin dear
Furrows of worry
Cross your face
Fade in and out
Life you have called
Done for
Your thoughts seem to take you there
Your face a mask
Which to hide behind sometimes
Amber passions
Light your chest
Sets a flame
To spread through you
To color your cheeks
A gentle blushing hue
Pulling away the furrows
I wonder
The mask cracks
Falls away
Slowly revealing
A smile of bright light
A face of tentative eyes
