Bright, startling lights
Hung in a blanket of darkness,
Hold me tight she whispers,
As she floats in a sea of green

Golden hair streams,
From a porcelain face,
He holds her tight,
As they together stare above

Time floats slowly,
Heart beats race quickly,
She parts her lips and smiles,
They are now as one

She falls to fast,
Slipping from his grasp,
His eyes fill with tears,
As she becomes still

Bright, startling lights,
He whispers,
Come back to me.
