I know what I want to say
Putting it into words is the hard part.
I know what I want to say
But it has to come from the heart.

I know what I want to say
But I don’t want to start to cry.
I know what I want to say
I will do my best and try.

I know what I want to say
To you, but you’ll never read this.
I know what I want to say
But my point is easy to miss.

I know what I want to say
Things just aren’t coming out right.
I know what I want to say
I’m trying with all my might.

I know what I want to say
But vulnerability scares me a lot.
I know what I want to say
This is something I wasn’t taught.

I know what I want to say
So I might as well say it.
I know what I want to say
But I just can’t do it…
