Of Love and Of Sorrow
I’ve written of love and of sorrows,
I’ve written of the dark,
Incongruity of the human mind
And the way the rain patters on the windowsill.
And yet I’ve never written of happiness.
It seems too blasphemous,
Too unfathomable,
Too full of lies that I would always end up on a blank page,
With no words and no happiness.
