None know of the girl in blue
There she stands waiting to be heard
A bird in a cage waiting to be set free
She speaks the language of hope and silence
Waiting now and waiting then
Eyes wide lips pink
Hopes high she speaks to me
I speak to her
Hand in hand we walk today
For now I know of the girl in blue
