The Wedding Picture
I see them sitting on separate chairs.
I see my father looking up and smiling,
My mother looking down shyly.
The chairs look simple and plain.
Are they getting married?
Are they insane?
Don’t lock up yourselves in chains.
They don’t understand, this won’t be good.
They’ll separate from each other, and put me in pain.
If only you knew that you will put us all in pain.
Can I stop this wedding, or is it too late?
I wish you could’ve picked a better mate.
Now all I have is this picture of them two,
But in real life, there are fights and nothing new.
