I see you falling
Fading from life,
Slowly leaving us.

I know you hurt
I feel your silent weeping
The agony through your body
The look in your eyes.
It cracks my heart and rips my spirit.

I often wonder
What would be worse,
Watching you suffer, as I am
Or losing you fast and unexpectedly?

All I know is that God has a plan
Whatever He does or doesn't do.
