Can you hear that?
Calling in the night?
A desperate call to battle,
But you're not prepared to fight.
What do they expect?
There was no warning, after all.
But that little voice inside you,
Will make you heed the call.
Despite your fear you don your armor,
And retrieve your silver sword.
You remember all your previous battles,
The crimson rain and how it poured.
You walk with a sense of purpose.
Onward, toward the fight.
You hear the clashing blades,
And soon the scene is in your sight.
Before you are your inner demons,
Together, once and for all.
All worthy opponents,
One by one, they all must fall.
So with a graceful strength,
You slay each and every one.
You feel a sense of closure,
And you look up at the rising sun.
You can forget the past now.
And live only for tomorrow.
You conquered the pain.
You defeated sorrow.
Now there's one call left to answer,
One small issue to address,
Now you must heed the call,
The call to happiness.
