Watch my chest turn purple. Watch my eyes roll back. Watch me cry and watch me breathe. Watch me hurt and watch me wheeze. Watch me writh and watch my pain. Watch me curse myself again. Watch me wish I wasn’t here. You’ll never watch me like this.
That’s why I wasn’t there today. That’s why I’m hurting.
I’m broken.
And they don’t know how to fix me.
I won’t let you see that.
