Favorite Quote:
"Thou! thy truest type of grief is the gently falling leaf."
-Edgar Allan Poe

It gnaws,
It claws,
It bites
And fights,
It jumps,
It bumps,
And cries
And dies,
It hates,
It debates,
It falls,
It crawls,
It cuts
And it juts,
And it screams
But what dreams!
Of the skies,
And how it flies,
All desires
To rise from mires.
It may fight
As it deems right,
No more kings
—Silly things!
Streets of gold,
Oh, so bold!
And dreams of love,
Not from above
But here below
With the ice and snow.
You’re told to sit,
But you’re it!
