Meet me in the city where the lights can blind our eyes
Meet me on the stage where I live a hundred lives
I’ll meet you at your desk where you write until its night
I’ll take you to the country where the stars shine on us bright
We’ll meet in the future when the world thinks it right
Even though it pains me when you’re out of sight
I will never know if it’s the right choice to make
But its hurt I will endure, if it’s for your sake.
