Splashes and Slashes

the rain trickles down
the peaceful sound of drip, drip, drip
as waves of water lay down last

the rain slashes down
the merciless sound of boom, boom
as forks of lightning pierce the sky

I loved how you described things how others would just put it simply "The lightening was bright". You put so much more feeling into it. And thats what I truly believe is the difference between good and bad writing. Good work!

Cool. Very reminescent of rain. Also, soothing, even with the thunder and lightning.

I agreee with somerandomperson the rain shows so much emotions it's like the sky is overwalmed and lets it out through crying
