I've never liked coffee
Never been one of those dazzling people
Who spends their mornings curled up in a corner booth
With a cup of their regular blend and their routine mug
And entices you with creative remarks
About their latest trip to the Grand Canyon or how well their
Poetry blog is doing
But I suppose if I was I would also do crossword puzzles
In ink
And I would be fearless, always telling people exactly how I feel
People like you
But like I said before
I've never liked coffee

I love the way you mention coffee at the beggining and then you talk about other things and then you end it with coffee again. Plus I love the last line.

I love this poem because it sounds so personal, it's like listening to a story. Great writing!
