Traditional Dating
I saw him at the mall,
standing by American Eagle.
I only had a few minutes
to ask him that important question.
“Hey,” I said.
“Hey,” he said.
“Look,” I said. “Uh, um, uh…”
“Do you want to see a movie?” he asked.
“Sure”
“I’ll pick you up at 6 on Saturday.”
“Sounds good,” I said.
“Cool,” he said. “I’ll see you later.”
“Yeah,” I said.
Oh, well, I guess I can get his opinion on that prom dress some other time.
