Failure
I watch helplessly as he destroys himself
a little each day
I sadly listen as people tell me his wrong
doing
I tell my mom that he needs help,
but she is wordless
I glare at him as he takes his anger out
on his family
I want to scream at him and tell
him the truth,
But he’s already too deep; I can’t pull
him out
I fail him
