To Lands Untouched

She runs to where?
she does not know.   
her hooves will take her
where her heart wants to go.

Trying to find a land
left untouched
by human hand.

A land where humans
dare not go.
a land where
she can wonder so.

Wonder so far,
and wonder so wide,
why there,
there she will never
have to hide.

A place where she
can call her home.
A place where she can be
alone.

Far, far,
away from where she came;
this horse will never
be tame.
