No Matter What-Love Family
I blame myself
It's not about the wealth
A family can still be happy
But mine-it's sappy
The hanging portrait on the wall
A snapped picture that says it all
The fake smile on my face
Memories without a trace
You look deep into my eyes
Yet you can still tell me lies
You push me away into the distance
And hold me there with such resistance
I hold back the tear
Thinking of you gone leaves me in fear
I look past our fight
And hold onto everything that kept us tight
You are more than family by DNA
I promise to love you each and everyday
