Backdoor Out of Life

Sometimes I feel like drowning in your sorrow
Pressure squeezing my heart until I ache
When they’re so alone
They find a back door out of life.
When I’m too hollow to open my eyes,
You keep the feeling inside of me
The drug that I hate to crave.
They say everything is my fault
When they pushed me into the dark.
They don’t know what has become of me
Just underneath the skin.
You’re slowly creaking’ into my heart- again
They know they’re not the only ones.
Never wanted live
Free to roam
So much time on their hands.
We fell down
Young or old
We all come crashing down-midflight
Took on the role of the desperate
