Show Time
Step outside the curtain feeling the thrill of attention
Looking out at the sea of eyes
The audience is watching, waiting, wanting the excitement
Wanting to hide in the dark but having no option
Imagining the embarrassment of messing up
Finding the eyes of someone who is there to support you
Feeling relief as you start to act
Being the Character you were meant to be
Listening to the laughter and support
Exit the stage and drown in instant relief
Not sad its over but, being thrilled to have done it
