When you first take a look at me
It isn't very plain to see
The pain I hide inside
If I were to fix up
Every hurting part
I'd need a bandage everywhere
And this is were we start

I need a bandage on my head
To stop my awful thoughts
I need a bandage on my eyes
Because my vision lies
I need a bandage on my nose
To stop it just from running
I need a bandage on my mouth
To stop myself from crying

I need a bandage on my ears
To block out all the noise
I need a bandage on my heart
To stop it completely cracking
I need a bandage on my stomach
To stop it always aching

I need a bandage on both knees
To protect them when I'm falling
I need a bandage on my feet
To make them just stop walking

I need a bandage here and there
I know it's hard to see
But inside I hide pain enough
To carry a bandage with me
