The ideas start coming to her,
And the words start humming in her mind.
With every bit of pain,
Comes a little tale to convey,
Filled with peace and hatred combined.

Nothing stopping the tears,
And nothing to reduce the pain,
Her writing ripples down the page.
As love and war excrete,
She figures it’s a writer’s bittersweet.

With women and children bloodied beaten,
And men with horses being eaten,
Her story becomes a little dark.
Cruel and sick,
A girl in love becomes skeptic.
But never mind the deceit,
It is simply a writer’s bittersweet.

Don’t forget the past,
Just try to make this last.
Don’t escape from the fear,
The words are becoming clear.
Don’t dread on the mistreat,
This is just a writer’s bittersweet.
Sit back and wait,
The story will turn into something great.

The author's comments:
My life has been hard. But the harder it gets, the more I write. I guess it's just a bittersweet.
