Just once more?
I want only this.
An eternity of simplicity
And hope
Joy
Laughter.
Let us go play in the yard.
Our bare feet in the smooth dirt
And the tips of tall grass kissing our cheeks.
Bring back the summer rain
And the buzz of life
That hangs low in the air,
And we will breath it in
In big gulps
As we run
And play
And laugh
Together.
