I watch everyone
They seem normal
Dream of being an actor
Or actress,
Or president
But not I
I dream of dragons
And magic
Knights
And gladiators
I was born in a time
Of technology
And I don’t want it
I want the simple
If I could be born anywhere
It would be Rome
No more technology
I don’t fit
I don’t feel I belong
I was born in this time
But belong in another
I shall take what is given
But I will dream
Of the adventures
Of old
The heroes and heroines
Knights and dragons
The time that
I belong

Funny question, ever heard of reicarnation?
I like this poem, I can relate to it, and the way you word everything is beautiful, even without much vivid imagery. You have a way with emotions.
