this change of pace
this awkward irrelevance
this stage of adolescents

All we were give was this
these pressured times
to figure out our importance
this stage of idleness

All we have is the industry
All we have is this income
All we have is this circle or friends where we lock arms and deny any other person

All we have is a chance
All we had was a chance
All we wanted was a chance
All we never got was a chance
