"It's better to be hated for what one is,
than to be loved for what one is not. "~ Andre Gide

Though sweeter tides have come to pass,
Daily toils mark the imminent demise.
Thy oceanic eyes glint with sparks of desire,
Mischief hidden just under the surface.
A solemn raven bellows out its somber cries,
As the autumn air brings an icy chill,
Of winters yet to come.

Do not lose the ambitions of today,
Nay, strive for all the hopes of tomorrow.
The frail, darkened souls of today,
May become the strong, solemnly omnipotent of the morrow.
Fate has many-faceted stares,
None of which remain constantly fixed.
As such, fated things may cease on a whim.

Though aubergine eyes and diluted hopes may glare,
Malicious agendas are unquestionable.
Dazed as you may be in this state of discovery,
Comatose sensations naught blossom forth.
A solemn raven bellows out its somber cries,
As the autumn air brings an icy chill,
Of winters yet to come.
