One shuddering breath
Is all it takes
Or a sound that escapes through closed lips
You can fall to the ground
With silent gasps
There will be no mercy
In the art of
Deceit
I will look at you now
And see through your mask
You asked if I could tell you the truth
"Why do you hate me?"
I replied that I didn't
Yet you had cut me
With your every word
So guess what?
I lied
