Go ahead and yell
I'm easy to startle
Tear stained sleeves
Eyes full of lost hope

You let me down
Shocker right?
I was 11
And you were drunk

As you threw my trust up in the air
You threw away the faith
Someday you wish to regain those things
But you won't

Because the day you walked out
To the brisk winters air
You left me
And took my soul with you
