that man used to be rich
now he lives under a bridge.
With a holey scarf, a smelly jacket, and a yellow smile across his face.
He kicks back on the rocks
and wrings out his socks

The author's comments:
i wrote this after one of my friends was found dead under a bridge from a drug overdose. he was rushed to the hospital and revived after 12 hours of death.
