Seasons through a tree
They’re a vivid bright green
Those leaves on the trees
They sway very gently
In the warm summer breeze
The seasons then change
And so do the leaves
The wind sweeps them away swiftly
Like transparent thieves
The tree dies in the winter
Standing stiff in the cold
It is buried beneath
A glittering blanket of snow
Life comes back to the world
It pops up everywhere
The tree morphs back to bright green
Spring is in the air
