Someday you've got to realize that
As you look down on me
I look up to you
Suddenly I know what my dreams should mean to me
And the days get harder,
The nights grow longer
You grow farther away
I’m starting to lose my grip
My hands are about to slip
The weight of insecurity only pulls me down.
I try harder
To run faster
And keep up with my racing breath
As everything I know is ripped to shreds.
