Class Clown

There’s a class clown in my class,
Making people laugh is his job,
Getting in trouble with teachers is another.
Everyone loves him for this,
But what about him?
Who makes him laugh?
Is he really as happy as he seems?
When he goes home what does he face?
Is there anyone there?
Why does he do the things he does?
Is he crying for attention?
But the class doesn’t care, as long as he makes us laugh.
Even if he has tears behind his mask.
He will always be my class’s clown.
