The hot tears
Burn inside me 
Like the anger
That fuels them
Powerful and
Unforgiving 
 Relentless 
In their quest
For vengeance
They trace 
A  path
Down my face
Leaving trails
Of hate behind
The flame has
All but burnt out
Yet the tears
Still come 
In ample supply
Lighting the spark
That wakens
The monster
Inside me
