With that kiss
You have to cry.
An infinite love
That seemed forever out of reach.
You gasp,
And the firefly flitters by...
What is this?
The moment would pass,
And you would patiently await its return,
But now it all has shifted;
No longer do you sit awake at night
Waiting for his name to appear;
It is already there.
Hold on gently,
Caress the words,
And smile at the finality.
