Unseen, unheard, uncared for,
No one cares about a kidney
Silently toiling day in and day out,
No one cares about a kidney
No one cares that we help you live
No one cares that we act as a sieve,
Filtering out the toxins and waste
You yourself would find debased
Kindly caring for a host so undeserving,
No one cares about a kidney
Suffering to make sure you live another day,
No one, no one, cares about me.
