No More Wishes

There are stars a many and dandelions a plenty
But none of them would grant me you
No, not a weird hour of night, or a meteor’s flight
Could bring your heart closer to mine
No candle need be blown or small seeds to be thrown
For me to long for you in my dreams
For my lonesome plead in fact did lead
Our souls to, at last, intertwine
In your arms I will rest with my head on your chest
While thanking the wish granters you are now mine
