Enraptured by your eyes
Those smooth pools of polished bronze
Reflecting the fire of the burning sun
Your hair is like water
Flowing down from a mountain stream,
An unbroken thing of beauty
Your neck is a strong tower
Upon which sits a treasure
More valuable than that of a thousand kingdoms
Your lips are as a ribbon of crimson
Your mouth, it is lovely
Your cheeks are like two halves of a broken pomegranate,
Round and radiant with beauty
Your nose is that of nobility
Ridiculed for its rarity
Your beautiful skin is a walnut,
Perfect and unblemished
Equal in shade and color
Until the appointed time I will pray and long for you my beloved
