Should I stand tall
or melt
Blood, tears, and sweat
This is my life,
my dream
I cant give up,
it's just not me
As I pirouette across the stage
I melt under pressure,
pressure to be perfect
This is not what I signed up for
Don't I deserve to smile
Smile out of enjoyment of what I love most
Ballet, you have taught me something
Dreams don't come easy
