There is a crow on my shoulder
Look at her watching me
With eyes that see noting
And everything at once
She has such sleek black feathers
They fall over my back
For there is a crow on my shoulder
Can you see her as she stares at me
With eyes full of evil
And murderous intent
She lets out a great caw
Her sadistic call deadens me
For there is a crow on my shoulder
Do you see her as she waits
Waiting for my life
Like she waits for a creature
Hidden amongst thick brambles
Ready to scoop in
To take what is most precious
There is a crow on my shoulder
