When I'm depressingly sad.
I write
When I'm happy.
I write
When I'm bored.
I write
For no reason at all.

I do this simple thing
I grab a pen
And my old ratty notebook.
And wait
For inspiration to strike.

I do this simple thing
Where I'm not judged
not ridiculed
not critiqued.

I write
Because that's
Who. I. Am.
