Too Bad You Hate Me

Look into my eyes.
Do you see the sky;
feel like you want to fly?
You and i
could fly so high;
don’t you realize
we could touch the skies?
For me,
you could be
everything I need-
to perceive
the world around me
as it should be.
Pushing each other past the boundaries
of the seen.
Free to exist within the sea
of the unseen.
You set my mind free.
Just you and me could be so free-
filled with love for everything.
But above all else…
It would be how true love should always be.
