The Brave, The Strong, My Family

I come from the land of stereotypes
I come from a place of expectant underachievers
I come from the land of the strong willed
The sassy-mouths
The “take no craps”
But where I come from doesn’t mean that’s who I am
I am strong
I am a nice person
I am funny
But how would you know that
Because some of you judge me
From where I come from
And not who I am

Good job! This is a short but very much to the point poem! My favorite line: "But where I come from doesn't mean that's who I am/I am strong". Keep writing! I look forward to reading more!
