summertime
The weather was perfect
Blue clear skies
Thick green grass
The air was comforting
My cousins and I running out in the yard
Having squirt gun fights
Fires at night
Sleepovers
Roasting marshmallows and wieners over the fire
No worries
Some of the best times of my life
Time sped by faster than a jack rabbit
I wish I could have one of those days one more time
So happy to be there
So upset when leaving
It was at my Aunt Vale’s
On Wolverine lake
Everyone smiled,
Laughed
And laid out in the sun
No fighting,
No blaming,
No judging
