Anticipation mocking blood as it swims in my veins
My heartbeat falls unsteady
My mind racing
Warm hands usher my clothes to the floor
Fingertips replace them
Falling on the bed as lips collide
Hands tugging hair & nails sinking into skin
Subtle moans break the surrounding silence
Eyes closed & seeing beyond dreams
Yawning legs and beckoning thighs
A push
A breath
Holding him close
“I love you” falls from our lips
Warm and honest
Falling into sleep wrapped in one another
I love him.
