In the dark of the night
When the moon's light points to a stretch passage
When the sky and the sea transform to be one same background
Where the cat wears a hat, and the man drives a van
Comes shining

-shining like a star, comes shining, shining, shining-

a very dim light.

Slow and delicate as a waterfall
Determined, made, and strong as a concrete wall
Comes shining

-shining like a star, comes shining, shining, shining-

shining like a miner in a mine mining.

It is there, but it's not seen
Next to that house it leans
Being showed beautiful by the moonlight
So strong, so determined, like if ready to fight
Waiting to disappear when the sun shines.

Not wanting to go, it gets tight as a bound
Next day, waiting to be found...

Yes, that's how it comes everyday: by the moonlight
When the moon's light points to a stretch passage
Where the cat wears a hat, and the man drives a van
Comes shining

-shining like a star, comes shining, shining, shining-

It comes shining, that light, just like a miner in a mine mining.
